Ruud just took the path paved for Nadal, weaker group and favorite schedule. I am surprised Ruud couldn't touch Djokovic's first serve. He even stays back at Djokovic's second serve.
Rublev said Ruud served 80% at 215km/h. But Djokovic read Ruud's serve so well and neutralized it.

Novak is in my opinion, the greatest of all time. That being said, I was slightly disappointed that Ruud made it in to the final as I knew he wouldn’t be able to really challenge Novak. He’s a very solid player but lacks that special weapon to win the biggest tournaments. I hope Djokovic goes on to win a few more slams and show everyone that he’s the best of all time.
