74 Songs in 7/4 time

7/4 time is an odd time signature and, as is the case with all odd time signatures, songs in 7/4 can be rare to stumble across. So here I have compiled 74 different songs using septuple meter.

7/4 is a fairly common rhythm in Indian classical music and is played as 123-12-12 and is called Roopak taal. Rabindranath Thakur wrote a number of songs in this rhythm (taal)

For you Musical Theater Kids, the beginning of "Meet Me Inside" from Hamilton is in 7/8. Really helps to communicate the sense of distress and panic following getting shot in a duel, especially in a show like Hamilton where nearly every single song is in 4/4.

TOOL also very briefly uses 7/8 time in Lateralus - during the chorus they alternate from 9/8 to 8/8 to 7/8 to follow the theme of the song (987 is the 16th number in the Fibonacci sequence and the song references spirals in its lyrics as well as following the Fibonacci sequence in the number of syllables in each line)
