This stupid update has destroyed my computer. Having to dive deep into operating system editing as you describe here is unacceptable. One should have a button next to the update which will delete the corrupted update, then re download it automatically. These people at Microsoft are idiots to have users to work on this like described.

Thanks for all the solutions. Strange. Even Solution 5 failed - “Windows 11 installation has failed”. No explanation why. So frustrating.
