Every Volvo XC with its Haldex system is what it is. Never and absolutely never think about it like a 4x4 car. It's doing its best for what it was built.

Plenty of ground clearance but the articulation is lacking pretty bad. Id try some softer springs. I lifted my s60 awd using some modified coilovers made as xc70 lift kit. Doesnt sit as high but i still have 9.5" clearance and can tuck and droop plenty so articulation is a bit better

I have a 2001 Volvo v70xc that I've been contemplating. Since it's a viscous coupling rather than Haldex does that make it better or worse than the 2nd gen w/ Haldex?

Please make a video detailing how this was done. What was custom? Were any parts from an XC60? Did you just use spacers on the original suspension and body? How much lift? What size tires? All details would be great!

Not a fan of lifted cars trucks but does the job. Amc eagle copy cat i have to say is the xc70. But amc is dead. And i love Volvos have owned 3 .

Hilift Jack on the roofrack is for show only. There is no proper lifting point on this car.
Better add some sliders on the side. And make sure they are protruding outside the body a bit to make sure the jack is not leaning onto the body when in use.

I am a volvo freak and have a 2009 xc70 AWD and i like a liftkit!
But this is little too extreme! It has also no benefits because the suspension is way to hard or short for off road!
But nice color!!
