I think it's funny how the news reporter next to the volcano said they have a meter that goes off when they have to get away and put a mask on, and then when it starts going off and he doesn't do anything 😂😅

As far as I know... there has not been any decision on what to call the eruption or the lava. The reporter said Fagra-dals-fjalls eruption but, the valley is named Geldinga-dalir or Gelding valleys (more than one) Where is lava runs now (beginning of may 2021) is in Mera-dalir i.e. valleys of Meres (as in plural - many mares) Geldingar (plural) are sterilized horses... geldings were kept (over the summer) eating in Geldinga-dales and meres were in Mera dales.. while just browsing the area for something to eat...

How is a volcanic eruption in Iceland rare? The had the last on not that long ago and it lasted for months. The whole island is volcanic rubble and it is located right on the Atlantic rift.
