You are the only person to capture the pure unhinged kindness of Canadians.

The "I baked 70 pies" made my husband spit out his drink because it IS his (Canadian) mother

I love HOW SHE views her MIL! It’s pretty clear she wasn’t used to being accommodated and so THATS what she highlights

As a Canadian I just want to say we’re not all like this but some of my relatives in northern Ontario are definitely giving this energy

As a Canadian who was a little girl in southern Germany, I would like please for these mums to interact.

It's the enthusiastic hush tone for me. It's like her voice is at full volume but with the hint of whisper throughout. Soooo accurate. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This is spot on - the extreme kindness w a hint of hippy/new age. 💯

"Are you pregnant????" Honestly, that was my coworker. Anytime I had a slightly change in anything she was like "Oh, the smell of tomatoes is bothering you today? You're probably pregnant. Oh, you're eyes are tearing up from the onions? Pregnant." lmao

I...ive never seen anything more accurate in my life in terms of capturing this energy. Its literally like this.

It’s so funny how much this could be my Canadian mom-friend. She’s so nice and wholesome, it’s weird. 😂

Canadian MIL here. And yes, I pretty much always have between 12 to 16 liters (3-4 gallons) of cheap, no name brand, white vinegar on hand because it has SO many everyday uses (household cleaner, window cleaner, toilet cleaner, laundry softener, deodorizer for stinky sink drains AND stinky sports clothes laundry AND anywhere a pet has an accident, weed killer, condiment, seasoning, fridge pickling various fruits and veg, etc, etc, etc), you never know when you'll be needing a LOT of it. Like the time my son's roommate's cat peed all over his costly down/feather duvet and he was sure it was ruined forever. But after three COLD water washes (gentle cycle), each with laundry detergent and nearly a gallon of vinegar (use half a gallon if you have a front loader washing machine), followed by a VERY long time (2-3 hours), in the dryer on LOW to make sure all the down/feathers were *completely* dry (with a few NEW, clean tennis balls in the dryer the entire time to help fluff the feathers, as well as taking the duvet out of the dryer several times and thoroughly shaking it to make sure it wasn't wadded up anywhere), his duvet smelled even cleaner and fresher than when it was brand new!
