I love these as bonsai. And that zig-zag twiggy branching makes for interesting looking structure, and with the delicate blossom and small leaves, a really great subject for bonsai. And very robust and forgiving no matter what punishment and misuse you give them. I have 5 of these in my collection.

Bunnings sell great bonsai trees. I nearly bought a Japanese Maple already to take home. but I like my trees to spread their limbs and feel free. instead of stunted. I'd have put the tree into my yard to be free.
