Respect Big Sean. Very sensible and mature answers

Kendrick was just telling them to step up their game and that he's not there to make friends but he will (if he has to) demolish other rappers to get to the top.

I thought Big Sean's Verse was also fucking dope, that song is crazy!

To me his verse sounded like he was naming a bunch of rappers that he thinks are at the top, and then saying he wanted to be better than all them by a mile, I didn't take it as him dissing anybody.

See I respect those answers, Drake wen't and cried and complained.

That is not a "diss" track, far from it. Naming names on a track can be tricky and can majorly backfire. Kdot executed perfectly

Sean didn't freak out. He answered with respect unlike Drake. He freaked out. Sean said he liked his verse and he had quotable moments in it. Yea Kendrick topped it but respect to Sean unlike Fake Drake smh

I can't believe how the rap game changed after this call out in "Control". Almost 10 years later, Kendrick is pretty much the best rapper in activity and he pulled up almost everyone he name dropped in the verse. Made them move and improve.
This song was necessary. This is history.

Sean showed us a lesson about not taking things too personal, i mean, Kendrick's verse was a boom in it's time and seing this answer in this video it's a really cool thing about him. They know what they market and fans want.

Big Sean kills it, K. Dot kills it and Jay kills it. Everyone on that track goes in.

I like how he says that when there's more than one rapper on a song, one of them is gonna shine. It's true. I actually liked all the verses for control. I don't really pay attention to the lyrics that often, I pay more attention to the beat and HOW the words all flow together. For big Sean's verse, that's exactly what I did. Payed more attention to the beat than the lyrics. But with Kendrick's verse on the other hand, damn. The lyrics are all I payed attention to. Jay elects verse was amazing as well but Kendrick's voice just has a certain flow to it that makes me happy. Big Sean is pretty chill. He has a good opinion about the song and the other verses including his.
