I like the pre Mcgregor era more you have silva jones gsp and the king of trash talk Chael sonnen, and it's very tough to pick between Jon anik or Mike Goldberg. Mike is more iconic and is wilder when something cool happens, but Jon has better commentary and understands the fights more. Also, the older shorts are better

After all these years, Goldbergs catch phrases live in my head rent free. He was the ufc to me.

Let’s be real here, Goldberg was just a hype man cause while listening to his commentary he always just sounded like a casual which is crazy cause he’s supposed to be an expert

Anik is so many leagues ahead of Goldberg it's almost an insult to compare them...

Yall tripping pre McGregor era was better the real goats were fighting back then dana cares more about ratings than who's the ultimate fighter

Finn a guy from this era judging the old school is so annoying I’ve been watching ufc since the first ufc and you can’t compare anything the rules are completely different the money the technology is different

Goldberg by a mile. Anik has gotten worse and worse over the years to the point he’s obnoxious. I’d rather listen to Paul Felder tell us marathon stories than hear Anik.

The OJ Bones is only better because he was fighting the previous generation of 205lb fighters who werent nearly as talented and were all really small compared to Jones and todays generation of 205ers. Back then they were all 6 feet to 6'1 with a 72 inch reach which is small for even 185lbs today. Modern 205ers are all 6'4 with an 80 inch reach. Which is why Jones needed controversial decisions vs modern 205ers, the talent caught up to him and they are no longer built like middleweights. So jones wasn't better back then, the talent was just worse back then and the 205ers were much smaller.
