I've had Pixel 4 XL for a day, and after initially giving you my top 5 reasons you should buy this device, I now feel qualified to give you 5 reasons you should skip this phone this year. In this video, I address the Pixel 4 face unlock/eyes closed controversy, my take on the plastic feeling sides, the lack of an ultra-wide camera and 4k60 video and the high price of this handset.

Appreciate the honesty. They should have listened to customers. Hell they even have more money and research equipment than all those chinese companies and they are doing cheaper devices with normal specs and higher price with mediocre storage. They even take out the unlimited storage on google photos which is nonsense because they're a software company.

Being able to use face unlock with eyes closed isn't any less secure than unlocking with a fingerprint.

yeah.. lack of 4k 60fps.. hopefully that's fixed. It's the only thing that drives me crazy.. cuz the only video samples I've seen look pretty darn bad, maybe sharp but terribly choppy

I'm just gonna say I love my Pixel 4xl. It's the best phone I've ever had and I'm gonna use it as long as I possibly can. Haven't had a single issue, not even with the battery. Sure, it could be a little brighter and last a little longer. It's a joke to watch someone use the phone for a few days and call it trash. Use it for a year and come back. I've never used an Ultra Wide and I had one for 2 years. I use the better zoom 10x as much. Maybe it was worth 1k. But you can get one now for 200us., and it's a super deal.

I'm a Pixel lover I've had every Google phone since the Moto Nexus 6 the Pixel 4 with no finger print scanner is a deal breaker for me, I'll keep using my Moto Z4

Nothing is wrong with this phone except the price
Battery, face unlock, tiny memory and would be justifiable if it’s priced @ $549 for 64GB and $599 for 128GB

Hold down the power button, then select Lockdown before falling asleep. Just a suggestion until there's software update for the Face Unlock issue.
