Also. I purchased and used the Samsung Fold 2 and while I did enjoy the big screen, the cameras were 2 gens behind and I was disappointed for that especially for how much it costs. I ended up trading it in for the S23 Ultra which imo has the best camera's and zoom even compared to the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, which I also have. Maybe Apple will add a telescope camera by the model 16 or so.

I honestly don't think that this phone is worth the $1700 price tag.

Inside looks like a Tablet from 5 years ago, only smaller

Looks like a real blast, I’ll be grabbing it, but still only “Announced” on PS Store in Aus. I’ll keep an eye for a proper update with price and date.

But the only problem is it doesn't unfold fully at the point where the big screen become totally flat

Definitely curious. I’m pretty deep in Apple’s ecosystem across the board but use Google Apps for just about everything. But I do love iMessage, iCloud, AirDrop, Watch Ultra etc etc etc so much. Not beyond switching, but getting a bit bored and wondering how much of a leap it would actually be.

"Super fast Tensor G2 chip..."

As a Pixel 7 user, I can tell you that that line made me chuckle.

Call the managers of your local cell phone companies that tried this phone out and most of them will tell you that it misses calls completely or they come in 15 minutes late.

And be aware that the content creators have been reporting screen issues due to when it folds that because there is such a small gap that the smallest piece of anything when closed destroy the screen.

itu sebenarnya bekerja sama dengan samsung dalam pembuatan perbedaannya terletak pada penyambung layarnya saja🤩

Each generation of the pixel has been aesthetically an improvement but a nosedive in every other aspect. Drops in quality and usability so precipitous that it's like I'm being given a previous gen phone with every major update.

The pixel fold is like everything that's wrong with Pixels distilled into a single release. It looks AMAZING but I know that it's not just what it looks like on the end table. I have to use that trashcan.

As much as I like the fold's design, I would wait for version 2 or 3 for Google to work the bugs out. Just like when Samsung released their Fold generation 1 model which had many issues that were fixed on the 2nd gen version. Don't be a guinea pig spending $1700

I'll watch the review, but for me - buying a folding phone or a current flip device is about as likely to happen as me buying a Vision Pro or several other insanely overpriced and overhyped Apple devices. Don't get me wrong, I like Apple for some of their products that are much more reasonably priced, but I'd also skip a couple generations of this phone so that Google can work out all the issues which are certainly going to occur.
