L-O-V-E for our monstera:

✨L 👉 provide bright light for your baby so she can grow ! My grow light is from @soltech_solutions and is about 50-60cm from the highest leaf 🪴 and she is thriving 🙌

O 👉 Oh yes ! Clean those leaves 🧼🍃 as the monstera has big leaves, it accumulates a lot of dust and this can be an obstruction to the ideal light. On top of that, cleaning the leaves (top and bottom) will help you prevent pests, which takes me to the next point !

V 👉 VERY important to check regularly for pests! Especially if you live in #Berlin like me, #thrips are a very common pest on the monstera, and they are difficult to get rid of, so it is better to always check and prevent big infestations 🧐🧐

E 👉 for extra support 💪 as the monstera is a climber and you will need to provide a poll or a trellis to climb on! I find moss polls are great, as they encourage the roots to naturally attach themselves to the poll 🪴✨
