Btw The quality of the goyard St. Louis bag is absolute trash. There’s tons of reviews about it.

But all other bags that you suggested, the resale value will drop more than 50% while some LV bags the resale value might be the same or higher.

Goyard is also a basic too in some countries like Japan and Korea. It became THE DIAPER BAG for young moms and somehow young college girls and career girls get it too. It was cool like a decade ago :( so hard to find something nobody else has unless you find some unknown brand or go hermes :(

I instead bought a beautiful Italian leather hand bag that was around $300. It’s not a name brand but made by a man that does leather goods. I’m just gonna say that it’s 💯 better quality than all these brands. And the best thing is that I saved hundreds of dollars. Not worth paying for a handbag because of the name on it.

Buy what you love, who cares if others have it. The Neverfull is a classic and practical bag. And starting at $1.5k now (I think), it’s far from basic. Of course you’re allowed to not like it, you’re allowed to explore and pick other options. But let’s remember luxury is not fast fashion and isn’t necessarily about being trendy or standing out

I beg to differ. LV is timeless and quality. It will last you for years and years. BV, YSL etc are nice to have… but if it’s your first luxury handbag, you should go for classic ones. After many years of luxury shopping, I only buy Lv, Chanel and Hermes nowadays.
