I have watched a few of your videos now. We must be sewing best friends and not know it. Our styles and techniques are the same.
I have been using these bias tape makers for more years than I can remember. Love them. I often use spray starch on the strips and press before running through the folder.
I saw someone use the folder upside down in a video, it kept the folded edges in place until the iron could press them down. Interesting approach. I might give that a go next time.

I made my first batch of bias tape today, and followed your directions exactly. Everything was successful. I didn’t cut on the bias because I didn’t need to use the tape for something circular. If you ever have any extra time, could you please do a video on how to sew on bias tape, Ihave trouble when it comes to 90 degree edges and whenI come to the end of the bottom of a sleeve for example. How do you end the sewing of the bias tape so that it doesn’t look bulky and doesn’t look like I don’t know what I’m doing!!! (Which I don’t!). Thanks. Pat Berne
