Another cabinet floating above the door would be an amazing built is cove look with a deep cased opening. Could be useful storage for winter items!

Probably one of my favorite how to videos. After all I’ve watched I don’t think I’ve seen many be so specific and it’s my first time hearing about the need to include the depth of the doors in the side paneling which makes so much sense but is something I definitely would have overlooked.

Hello! I'm planning my platsa wardrobe following your detailed explanation :) Thank you for the video. One question - how did you paint the doors? Did you do a lot of sanding or did you apply some special primer (if so, what products?) I googled that people recommend Shellac-based primer but I wonder what you used for your project

Did you use different inset hinges or the IKEA ones? I also had my mdf/trim stick out a little so the frame would be flush with the doors but when opening the doors, they end up hitting it and not opening properly. Considering purchasing different hinges but just want to see if there is another solution.
