May was quite a busy month for me, so I didn't do a ton of reading (besides reading and loving The Brothers Karamazov). I thought it would be fun to share a few of the random lifestyle and illustration items I've been enjoying recently!

The Brothers Karamazov is my favorite book I’ve ever read, so far I have gone through it twice. Never was the same after. Scenes always come back to mind. Happy reading!

After reading all the philosophically delicious chapters of TBK, the courtroom drama one comes across by the end of this book is definitely "cherry on the cake"...the brilliance of dostoyevksy's writing as a psychologist is especially reflected in that final part.

Hi Carolyn!

I just wanted to say thank you for looking out for the rest of us curly girls. I am the eldest sister with curly/ wavy hair and my mum has a different hair texture than me, so I’ve had zero guidance of how to take care of my hair (other than watching YouTube) and plenty of low-key trauma with my mum trying to brush through my hair, bad haircuts and straightening my hair to death (after growing up in the 2000s where straight hair was all the rage). It made me really happy to hear you say you wanted to give product recommendations for those who didn’t have anyone to teach them! Thank you so much!

Just as Lexie Reed said, loving the switch up with monthly faves and the book you are currently reading. Especially when it's such a massive classic like Karamazov! I ended up the same this past month too with reading 1500pgs of Les Miserables 😅
