If you have hypothyroidism and you want to treat it naturally then you should look into the compound called guggulsterone.

Guggulsterone or guggul extract comes from the sap of a tree native to India and it has powerful pro thyroid benefits.

Aside from acting on the thyroid directly, it also has additional benefits that can target many of the symptoms that hypothyroid patients face.

Here are 3 reasons to take this compound if you have hypothyroidism:
1. It can help your body create more T3.
2. It can help lower cholesterol.
3. It can help with weight loss.

This compound can be used in all hypothyroid or low thyroid states including hypothyroidism, hashimoto's thyroiditis, thyroidectomy, and radioactive iodine ablation.

I like to see references because I see some studies that suggest it can interfere with thyroid meds. Not to give a suggested amount and excluding contraindications does not help your credibility. Just a few tips to improve your interesting nuggets.

For example, it is known that guggul lipid (an extract of guggul) may increase the activity of aspirin, which could lead to bleeding problems.

Any side effects? My cholesterol recently can back high. Crazy, because I eat no sugar, no oils besides olive oil and no processed foods. Meats are only chicken and seafood. Im gluten intolerant, so in other words I can't fix this with diet.
