For those wondering why there's been nothing the past month: court cases take a while. Especially if rich people are involved. There's often NDAs, getting the entire case opened in the first place, getting a time for both parties to be in court. Not to mention that the big company will draw the case out to try and get the person sueing them to run out of money before a decision can be made.

If Mojang begin to lose the case, they may offer a large sum of money to Kian as compensation to get him off their back. However, Kian can choose to stick to his guns and fight the underlying problem. It's just a case of whether or not he has the morality and commitment to refuse potentially the equivalent of tens of thousands of US dollars in order to fight what Mojang are doing instead of taking the money and running.
