Something satisfying about the steam method. Knowing there’s no chemical residue left that you’ll always see or feel a little bit down the road.

Wow, you are really becoming efficient at cleaning. Keep up the good work. I could use you next Wednesday, if you're free.

LOL. First thing I noticed in this video was that the cabinets were trashed. Glad to see you are taking care of them. My wife regularly uses this steam/vacuum thing on our floors and it keeps them pretty clean. It is like using a normal vacuum and doesn't require getting on hands and knees. The little gadget you used seems pretty obvious for those hard to reach places, though, and I was surprised at how well it worked. Thanks for the video.

Never use tap water in any kind of steamer if you want to keep it in working condition.Distilled water only.

I can attest to steam cleaning 100%. I had to clean a kitchen tile floor that was disgusting! The renters had chickens, husband worked in landscaping and wore his work boots in the house, wife cooked a lot of greasy foods. The grout was originally a light sand color that was almost invisible with the tile. After the family moved out, the grout was dark, dark brown. I used my steam cleaner and it worked AMAZING! The grout and tile were like new! And it felt good knowing the floor had been sanitized.

I just bought a McCullough MC-1270 steam cleaner and am going to use it this weekend on our tile floors. I have found that toilet bowl cleaner applied to the grout and then let it sit for a few minutes works wonders. Additionally the cleaner has the nice nozzle on it that just fits perfectly in the grout line so application is very easy. I am going to take my steamer and scrub the grout with the cleaner on it. I figure it will be super fast and should give the best of both worlds. After I'm done I'll just steam the floor to clean up everything, but I'll towel up the cleaner as I go so it isn't all over everywhere. Good vid

Love steam cleaning. Very satisfying to do. A big plus is that my skin is extremely sensitive to chemicals, so it's a win, win for me.

I’ve always steamed for two reasons. One is FREE! An two sometimes you come across something that is extremely sticky. I found after maybe 6mo with the steam mop I’ve always had clean tile.

Very cool. I need to do this myself. A little suggestion: follow the steamer with a wet-dry vac or hot water extractor, and just suck up all the water right away!

... I knew it! I steamed in our bathroom in our previous apartment and it also took away the nasty black stuff that collects on the silicon. I will still test the soda solution soon though :)

You're DARN right you need to seal your grout. Installers of tile say NO, but that's because they get to charge you later for cleaning. And when they say "oh the grout already has sealer in it"....don't believe them. When we had our pool done that's what the said and after a couple years the grout was calcified with blotches of white at the intersections. I spent 2 days with harsh chemicals, razor blades and scrub pads. Following this I sealed it with sealer (not water based). It's been 5 years and not calcification at the joints.

Thanks, I just found another use for my Chief Steamer. I can refill it without waiting for it to cool down too so larger areas wouldnt be so bad.

Dawn dish soap and for tough stains baking soda with very little water added. Let either sit for 15 or 20 min on the Grout, dirt picks up real easy

White vinegar and half a lemon is great. I have a steamer but I've never used it. I will now. 😁
