why is there no printable instructions on how to use the display unit. videos are all very well but with a bit of paper you can study what you need and how to set it

Also. I should have received a "welcome pack" days before the installation engineer arrived, he told me that, so I called them and they tried to put it on me by saying that I only ordered the installation a week ago (wrong, two weeks actually) anyway they said it's in the post and I should receive it the next day (wrong again) that was 4 days ago, & I am still waiting. Perhaps if they had done their job properly in the first place and sent it to me on time, I would not be wasting my Sunday morning fucking about with this! Cheers Eon!

Smart meter is the great invention, i can tell how much an appliance cost me, for example, electric kettle costs 31p an hour, hoover costs 11p an hour, iron costs 30p an hour, Tv costs 5p an hour, electric oven costs 35p an hour, Gas central heating costs 50p an hour. After that you just add vat on top which is 5%. I dont know why people are complaining when the smart display is displaying in pounds and pence.

My smart meter screen does not look like the one in the video. Also, the calendar key only beeps. It doesn't actually change what is on the screen.

The adverts all show a nice clear colour meter, but what you get is a crappy black and white unit.

I have the same smart display as this one. My bills have always even taken at the end of the month, with my display setting back to zero, it was so easy to keep up with my bill, the my supplier moved the bills to be taken out the middle of the month! but my display still doesn't zero till the end of the month, so it's not so easy to keep on top of, I've been on to my supplier but they don't seem to get what I mean, is there any way I could reset it?

I love my smart meter it is easy to use to see what uses most electric and to see whats left on. I like to see what energy i’ve used each day and if I can save any the next day. I have solar panels and it tells me when they are working and how much electric they make. I can put on washing machine dish wasehr etc at the most economical time. It’s about using it right. I did have a few days when it didn’t work though and never knew why.

Just topped up and received an email saying it hadn't gone through and I needed to enter the top up manually but don't tell you how to do it and the link included is dead, bloody useless!
