Que bonitos suenan estas composiciones musicales excelsas cantadas en diferentes idiomas por estos tres prodigios únicos e inmortales. Que orgullo me produce como española compartir con el mundo a Placido Domingo y a José Carreras sin desmerecer al inmortal Luciano Pavarotti. Somos afortunados por haber coincidido en el tiempo con ellos. Maravilloso concierto.

As a young child I remember my dad playing Pavarotti records on our record player back in the 70's and early 80's. I never understood why dad loved opera music and Pavarotti so much. Today I had a desire to with no real reason to watch and listen to the 3 Tenors. I now understand and appreciate why dad loved this style of music. The music is beautiful and elegant, it took me back to my childhood. The 3 Tenors... wow what a combination absolutely awesome!!

Pavarotti is my favorite because I love his lyrical voice. I loved his voice the most in all of the combinations, and in Mamma - when he rocked back in forth in the musical interludes - my heart! But I have to say that Placido singing Dein ist Mein Ganzes Herz was amazing, too. All three are masters, but Luciano is the master of my heart. :).

I was at this show in Giants Stadium in NEW JERSEY . You have never in your life been in a stadium full of 60, 000 people and been able to hear a pin drop during the pauses on stage nor the thunder of applauds when they were done. I was so disappointed that there never was a commercial release of this show.
