Brilliant. RIP Luciano Pavarotti (1935 - 2007), my all time favourite tenor, a voice as warm as the Italian sun on a field of sunflowers. Much missed but never to be forgotten.Carreras and Domingo wonderful too, Carreras still with us after years of chronic lymphoblastic leukaemia and has raised so much money for research to improve treatment of the illness. Domingo still going strong aged 83. Wonderful music, so uplifting. We really need this great music now in our troubled world.
