Skodas were actually sold in the USA, but only in the 60s, the very old models, before it was owned by VW. Since it was such a failure, skoda decided not to sell their cars there anymore, and since then, they didnt think about bringing them to the USA ever.

One feature I forgot to showcase: There's an engine warning beep when your engine gets damaged. It can be heard at 10:56

The 1st gen Octavia is still my favorite all these years. We had a blue caravan with the 1.9TDI engine and it was lovely so that thing was part of my childhood.

And a bit of a note on the 1.9SDI, From my own experience, they might be slow and not that powerfull, but they will keep going firever and basicaly outlive anything so I can see why it was put in the taxi config

I'm glad you wrote Škoda with the wedge, but by saying Skoda you'll trigger every Czech Škoda fan out there (yes, I was born and grew up in Czechia).
I love the mod, the model looks really good, but there are a few things I'd like to point out, though. The Czech police's siren doesn't sound like that at all in real life, I appreciate the effort of making the Czech police livery, what a nostalgia to be honest. You were mostly right about Škoda in the USA, as education is illegal there, they don't even know about the brand. However some fans have imported a few Škoda vehicles in America.

Not sold in the US, but it used to be exported to Canada (80s) and still is to South America. Funny enough, they are quite popular in Australia which was so surprising to see so many of them down under!

As a guy from the home country of Škoda Auto, i really like this mod because atleast someone made a really good Škoda mod. But sadly there are not that many of Škoda mods out there for beamng so yeah.

Edit: i hope he makes a Škoda fabia first gen because i will be actually able to drive the car what we have.

1:01 This mod is actually Škoda Octavia mark 1 which was in production line from 1996 till 2004, not till 2010. In 2004 was launched the mark 2, which was facelifted in 2010. :)
