Just so beginners know, GloFish are NOT a different species of fish. For most stores, the GloFish consist of tiger barbs, zebra fish, and black skirt tetra. These fish NEED a MINIMUM of 20 gallons, not the 5 or 10 gallon kits that the company offers. All 3 types of these fish are schooling fish so they need a minimum of 6, for tiger barbs its best to have more than 6 as they are semi-aggressive. So when searching for the care of glofish, search the care for the actual type of fish and not just the "glofish" in general

I hit the bell! I just love your videos. Since 1996 I’ve had aquariums in my place. I had a 55 gallon in the living room, a 10 gallon in the dining room, a 29 gallon in my bedroom. I mainly had cichlids except for the 10 gallon. I tried unsuccessfully to have goldfish or guppy’s in it. The guppy’s did a lot better. I love fancy and plain goldfish but have never had luck with them. I’ve been doing some research and have learned a bit about them. I retired in 2013 and gave my aquariums to my son and moved away. Now that I came back to the area(California), my son has gifted me a 150 gallon aquarium that I have against the dining room wall. He gave it to me decorated beautifully. He’s going to get it ready for me to finally get the beloved goldfish I’ve been wanting. I love your videos. I’m going to share with my son as I’ve turned him into an aquarium lover 😊👍
