The official music video for "We Can", the song that inspired The We Can Project.

Each year the students at École Puntledge Park Elementary School in Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada complete a self directed project called "I Can," inspired by Kiran Bir Sethi in India. As a group, Puntledge kids used Jesse Ruben's song "We Can" as daily inspiration. Brooklyn, New York based Jesse Ruben was invited to fly across the continent to make a special appearance at the school. This is the story of that day.

I first saw Jesse Ruben on the tv at my morning school news as a kid back in 2011. They played a 20sec cut of his music and i instantly became a fan.
Im 30 now and still listen. Not a particular fan of his more hardcore Christian songs but i enjoy his all around humanitarian music

This is in my hometown where I was born and raised. My Mom works in a Elementary school as a librarian and my Dad is a Highschool teacher. It's fantastic to see the positive that goes on at school and the positivity you were able to bring to these childrens lives!

Thank you for being such an inspiration!! I first heard of this song in school, and I have since shared this song and covered it on the guitar at my job(I'm a recreation therapist and work with disabled adults) and everyone loved it!! So inspirational, and as someone who has disabilities myself, this song is such a positive message and remind me I can do ANYTHING I want, and now that I accomplished most of my goals, I now help others accomplish theirs and let them know that it doesn't matter if they have a disability, they CAN do anything they want if they put their minds to it!!! :)
