Watching this e60 series is like a therapy for a car guy; although i just simply remove/replace parts on my cars to fix them(way easier than the jobs ur doing), i can still relate to all the struggles youre going thru. And the video edits are just 👌

There was supposed to be an extra reinforcement piece from a non sunroof version in the middle of the roof, did the same conversion on a e92 335d, the piece could be ordered straight from the dealer, it helps with wind buffering and extra rigidity
