Hello I have made a mistake on 1:00 - 1:08. You can give two object's vertex group the same name if you want to parent it to the same bone.

This should be explained first in every rigging tutorial, as this is how every bone always connects to the mesh. Learning how to do it by hand is important. Thanks for the tutorial

What i'm confused about is what advantage this gives over just parenting an object to a bone by using CTRL + P and selecting the bone option

dis didnt work but that might just be me. i made a bonnie head from fnaf and tried rigging it and this was the only tutorial i found

Hey I was wondering is there a way to parent or assign multiple meshes to the same bone for example the crystals on the leg how can you make those move with the leg without it being one mesh

How would I add multiple bones (2) to one mesh, I have a leg that i would like to have 2 bones to allow joint movement, but is separate from the rest of the body.

I have a body and there is alot of bones in it, yet the legs are not attached to the body, does it work? Because I don't know if naming all the bones "body" after the vert. group is good.

Can you make a tutorial on how do floating limbs like something without joints but still acts like a joint? Idk if that makes sense I mean like a characters arm is split into multiple parts like the bicep and the forearm are different objects but with nothing in between how can I add a elbow to the nothing or is that just not possible with blender?

it didnt work for me sadly both parts just ended up rotating around the base of the upper leg bone
