Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it very much. The low speed in the tunnels is not due to the proximity of stations. Till a year ago the speed used to be 50, now it’s 27 because of bad tracks and in order to prevent further decay. The tunnels between Groenplaats and Opera are planned to be closed in 2026 for a total renovation. Same goes for the part between Diamant and Plantin.

В Антверпене реально очень интересная трамвайная сеть, особенно тем, что трамваи ездят как по поверхности земли, в том числе и среди автомобильного трафика, так и под землёй. Также радует глаз архитектура центра города. А здание железнодорожного вокзала - реально шедевр, не зря его называют одним из самых красивых в мире :)

So, you're from Riga? A very beautiful city, full of Art Nouveau gems. I'm very fond of the Baltic States and I have an interesting anecdote about that. While visiting your Northern neighbour Estonia, I was surprised to hear my guide in Tallinn ask me if the Antwerp metro was working fine. She had visited the city when the tunnelling works were still in progress and she just seized the opportunity of my visit to enquire about how it was working, (quite) some years down the line.

I did the same thing in Antwerpen in Feb. and March 2014 but after 10 years it is good to see how things are now and your video is better than mine. Thank you for putting this out.

Спасибо за видео) Для относительно небольшого города трамвайная сеть там весьма мощная. А идея метротрама под историческим центром напомнила мне о таком же осуществлённом проекте в Цюрихе.
А почему 4 станции ещё не используются ( реконструируются?) и 3 закрыты совсем?
