Free Stereo to Mono mixing audio cable - Headphones Conversion //Basic Electronics

In this weeks video I'm making a stereo to mono mixing audio cable that is used for connecting smartphones or other media players to some older mono amplifiers.

The audio cable, mixes the stereo signal through two resistors, thus providing protection for the audio equipment being used on.

The source of the components are a pair of airplane headphones that I got for free on one of my earlier trips that have two 3.5mm jack, one mono and one stereo.

The project is very simple and can be made by someone with very basic electronics and soldering skills.
