Excel Unique Function to extract unique values from Excel Datasets (Quick Guide)

In this video we are going to talk about how you may extract Unique rows or columns with the help of Excel Unique Function in Excel. It is easiest method to get unique values from excel data.

This is one of the interesting function which can quickly get Unique values in Excel from large datasets without following multiple steps. It is available only in OFFICE 365.

There are 3 arguments in Excel Unique Function, =unique(array,[by_col],[exact_once]).

In first argument you need to define Excel Range from where you want to get unique values

In Second argument you need to mention if you want to compare columns or rows in order to find uniques

In third argument you need to define if you want only unique values which does not have duplicate values or you want to extract all values only by removing duplicate values.

Here you can see first argument is mandatory and other two are optional.
