In addition to that, I have to admit that like many of us fans my first introduction to this character was through The X-Men: Animated Series back in the 90's. It's funny how so many distinctive X-men villains (including ones that would end up having deep personal ties to the X-men and their supporting cast, such as Silver Samurai, Sabertooth and Deathbird) began as poorly-defined one-offs in titles like Marvel Team-Up.
