Kia's Status Symbol: Experiencing the Luxury of the 2022 Kia Telluride SX Prestige Nightfall

Kia has come a long way from their humble beginnings. This brand has come from affordable car maker to a premium contender.

With the entire automotive industry shifty away from sedans in favor of larger SUVs, Kia’s first attempt at a boxy Americanized SUV fell flat. The 2009 Kia Borrego was with us for one short model year.

Fast forward to 2022 and Kia has turned over a new leaf. Taking home a “Triple Crown” of awards on its first year on sale: 2019 North American Car Truck and SUV of the Year (NACTOY), MotorTrend SUV of the Year, and Car and Driver’s 10Best award. It is the first time an SUV had ever won all three.

Riding around in this 2022 SX Prestige trim, with Nightfall package, made us feel special. It coddled us with its smooth ride and pampered us with its many interior appointments such as heated/ventilated front and second row bucket seats. It is easy to see why this rig has taken the market by storm.

There are THREE seatbelts in the 3rd row (smaller people), so it's not just a "2x2x2" Mine also came with heads up display, lane assist etc. etc...I love the Nightfall edition too, just wish they'd darken the new emblem too!

“sage green” — that’s not a color for the telluride. I think you’re confusing the color with the Sorrento. Also, 22” rims on the nightfall? I don’t think so. I think they’re only 20”. That’s the Dark Green Moss (which is misleading as it’s mostly brown).
