It’s been a dry April so far but will it continue?

Dry and warm for the next few days but subtle changes this weekend and next week will bring some cooler easterly winds and the risk of showers in the south. For most though it looks like a mainly dry outlook to end April. Luke Miall has all the details.

Why do they use this moronic phrase 'risk of a few showers' as Rain is a rarer thing these days, and is our lifeblood, they ought to say 'May be LUCKY enough to get a few showers'!!
