Easy Homemade Lasagna With Cottage Cheese

It may be controversial, but my favorite lasagna is made using cottage cheese! It gives the lasagna a nice tang and texture. Complete with a hearty meat sauce and perfectly cooked noodles, this is the best version of easy lasagna!

my mother recipe uses cottage cheese, and it does a nicer flavor, i think it is appropriate to use because cc has larger curds that tends to break less w/high temp (i learned that from cooking with yogurt)

Cottage Cheese is the best tasting. It melts and infuses with the other cheeses and later into the pasta itself giving richer, cheesier flavors. Ricotta tastes like you dumped sand in it and bechamel is like adding a bland gravy. All the italian purists who dump on cottage cheese have never even seen a cottage cheese lasagne. Once you try it, and then eat it reheated, you will understand.
