I use Gorrilla Arms to upload the quickhack "concussion" to my enemies

This video actually re-invented netrunning for me because
I didn’t even know about most of hack combos. One more reason to walkthrough Cyberpunk again as a netrunner.

The trick to Blackwall is to use the cut paste perk, and upload it on a netrunner that is trying to hack you. That way, it uploads for free on EVERYONE, killing entire encounters with a silenced shot to get the net runner to try and hack you and a single hack

One thing I found with system collapse is when the trace is triggered by a net runner and you have the counter hack perks, you can put system collapse on the net runner and it will not only stop the trace but spread to all enemies nearby essentially clearing a base which felt incredible as a God tier net runner

BTW, you can greatly increase the upload speed of Blackwall Gateway (or any other hack) simply by having it second or later in the queue. Having it queued also allows you to upload it to multiple enemies at once provided you have sufficient RAM, as you don't get blocked from using the hack until it has started uploading on at least one enemy. Since the enemy is going to be dead once the hack loads anyway (and it effectively guarantees detection), any 2 RAM hack will do.

Burnout is better than Blackwall Gateway, but holy heck specing a build that makes BWG work and sending all their souls to digital hell is just so bad ass.

The thing I love about netrunning in 2077, despite it not being the mechanic I really wanted, is how versatile it is. Nearly every build and playstyle can benefit from a nicely fitted netdeck, often in ways berserk and sandy can't manage. And the runner focused builds are so interesting and varied just on their own. With a bit of creativity, you can really be spoiled for choice in how you engage with any given encounter.

I should've known that running out of weapon types wouldn't stop you! xD

Iconic Quickhacks can be obtained from access points once your level is high enough, you dont need the dogtown kid

Netsnipers should also be aware that Sonic Shock causes enemies to go into a very predictable stun animation wherein their heads perk up.

I love using Cyberpsychosis for roleplay purposes. Imagine tapping into their security feed and seeing them fight amongst themselves. Then as you enter the building, initiate "self destroy" and watch the last enemy take the easy way out.

System collapse on the Arasaka deck just feels so right for a stealth netrunner build. Sometimes overclock causes your quickhacks to spread causing accidental trace progression, and in those scenarios it goes down to 4 cost becoming a cheaper memory wipe that also 1 shots anything short of a boss. Not to mention there's just something to be said for hitting overclock and literally 1 shotting an enemy, something about it is more satisfying than any of the 1 shot combos.

I used the Iconic 'Cripple Movement' hack with the Relic Monowire upgrade and I was able to kill Smasher on Very Hard in about two minutes - nothing revolutionary, but, it was really funny to have him completely stationary as I ran around blasting him with Achilles lol

Okay I gotta add that system collapse is a must have if you want to counter hack netrunners. If they initiate a hack on you, proc system collapse on them and it'll kill all the other enemies they're proxying

iconic cyberware malfunction + iconic short circuit is my go to combo when not in overclock mode.
when in overclock mode, iconic cyberware malfunction + system collapse will drop anything dead that's not a boss.

Detonate Grenade is most certainly bugged, I remember being able to wipe entire enemy groups just using it

I've also found, if you can't wait till phantom liberty but you've reached high enough netrunning to get legendary quickhacks: Doing breach protocols on any and getting the most difficult tier hack aka. (usually the 3rd one on any standard breach), is quite handy and quick to get you the crafting specs for the iconic and normal legendary quickhacks.

One of the understated upside of system collapse is that its great in stealth missions because it doesn't tiger a alert or even an enemy scan . You want to sneak into a room with 2 guys looking in different directions? Sure you can bait one away and take down one guy and then the other but it so much better (and faster)) to SC one and takedown the other at the same time. Also great when you are clearing a base unseen and every now and then send the SC to enemies in hard to reach places. It also doesn't kill the target, so very useful in missions that require no kills.
