How do I start up the switch with a pro controller? The switch requires me to have the joy cons connected but I dont have them, how do I skip that?

Kinda late but I wanted ask more about the Micro SD card part- I keep all my games, photos, and data on that card- if I initialize without deleting data, what does it do exactly to the data that I have saved on the card- should I initialize it with the card removed or keep it in? If I do keep it in, what do I need to do afterwards? It says it'll be unusable but doesn't specify how or what data becomes unusable...

I’m having a problem w my v1 switch. Works perfectly fine except when removing from dock or charger. It goes into an initializing mode for a few minutes. Then works fine. Any solutions much appreciated.

My switch simply stays in the "initializing. Do not touch the POWER button" for hours :/ I dunno what to do anymore.
I'm trying to reset because my switch suddently stopped to recognize my SD card, I bought a new one and it recognizes but it doesn't download any of my games on it, then I decided to do the reset, but right now, feeling hopeless
