Zelensky visits flood-hit region after dam breach while Kremlin says 'no plan' for Putin to visit

Ukrainian President Zelensky has visited the flood-hit region of Kherson on Thursday, as rescue efforts continue following the breach of the Kakhovka dam.
Zelensky also expressed concern about a lack of support following the destruction of the dam.
It comes as the first deaths were reported following the breach of the dam in Kherson region.
On the other hand, Russian President Putin currently “has no plans" to visit the Moscow-occupied areas, the Kremlin's spokesperson said Thursday.
The remarks came after Zelensky’s trip to Kherson.
At least 4,000 people have been evacuated from both the Russian and Ukrainian-controlled sides of the Dnieper river.
The reason for the dam's collapse remains unclear.
Ukraine blamed Russia for blowing up the structure while some experts said it might have been due to war time damage and neglect.
