The TGL golf league has everything: rotating greens, massive screens, top PGA players like Tiger Woods, and new ways to connect fans with superstars. But while it’s revolutionizing the sport, many golf fans aren’t happy about it. Why is something so innovative causing so much backlash?

This idea was genius. The concept of taking the loudest most personal hole in golf and turning that into an experience like this? They got a winner with this one

I've watched every week so far and I thinks it's great! If golf is involved I'm gonna watch, it's something new and different than the same old 72 goes we get every week, we got cool tech, fun personalities, a fun format... I dig it!

Yeah. Now these are going to pop up in every major city, be super expensive, and start putting a lot of local courses out of business. It’s like live action golden-tee. It’s a cool novelty, but seeing tour players deal with naturally occurring conditions, on beautiful scenic courses is still it for me. Not to mention, if it’s not snowing outside, then I would ALWAYS rather be on the course, than in a simulator.

The tech is brilliant Imagine a more differing shape of the green would be great in future. But i feel the rough and sand traps get a little unreal. Ie from there box section. The fairway tee shot is fine. Just dont get the same like a ball being on a tiny slope or random debris or ever rocky edges but i know tech always improve so this be sorted out over time

Rory said it best. TGL isn’t trying to compete with the PGA tour. The tour will always be the pinnacle of competitive golf. It’s a wonderful supplement to the PGA. I would love to see YouTube golfers play this. Other athletes/personailities. I love it

How boring was the Waste Mgmt this past weekend? Speith only really known golfer in top 10. Can’t remember an exciting finish to a recent PGA tour event. Bring back the LiV guys or keep working this TGL. Nothing to lose right now anyway

Disagree. This is entertaining and light and fun. Why would viewers be pissed off? The technology is incredible. Don’t watch it if it upsets you.

The fact you said “games” confirms the fact you are not a golfer or a fan of golf and are just looking for engagement.. which I’ve obviously given you by posting this. It’s called a “match”. Go touch grass and get some original content instead of using classics like Happy Gilmore.

I’m still getting used to it. I’ve been watching the PGA for 30+ years. I didn’t really have any issue with LIV. But watching this felt weird, almost worse than LIV

Simulators are great. Good idea but I don't think it will last. But what do I know.

its an amazing idea to get closer to young audience and get them to play golf. Outside US young people don’t even know how golf works
