I’m 60-years-old, and I have absolutely NO FRIENDS. I learned a very long time ago that the less people I invited into my life, the less bs I would have to put up with. I keep to myself and mind my own business. If I see one of my neighbors out, I’ll throw up my hand in a friendly gesture, but then I get on about my business….I don’t wait around for them to come over and try and engage me in conversation. I don’t do idyl chit chat or gossip. I’m very comfortable with myself and enjoy my own company. I have plenty of hobbies and things I enjoy doing in and around my home. I’m sure me being the way I am has saved me so much aggravation and money in the long run.
