The part we’re you have to heal her twice sometimes is very important. For me I was freaking out that I did something wrong only to exit and come back later and have to heal her again. After that the quest continued. I hope this helps with anyone else having the same problem

My god the return ending is so complicated i got the purification ending in my 1st run without knowing to do this thing, damn.

Immortal Severance: Understandable and Straightforward ending

For the return ending it doesn't bug out. When you return to the divine child after eating the sweet balls from kuro you need to talk to her as there is a dialogue regarding that, after that rest and she will be gone.

On my first playthrough I fullfilled all the steps to get the return ending, and then decided not to break the iron code, because I thought that this would be what Wolf would have picked…

A way to get the endings without having to play the game all over is to save/quit the game before you talk to daddy.

Save your data on a USB drive or PS Online Storage.

Go ahead and do an ending. Once you’re finished and get all the trophies for an ending, close the game.

Now, DOWNLOAD your saved data from your USB/Online storage TO your PS4 Storage. Once you’ve downloaded your save file, it will overwrite your previous data.

Start the application again, and it should put you back to the place you saved before talking to daddy.

Do another ending. Rinse and repeat.

The ending when u create an eternal loop is kinda satisfying because it explains a lot about our friend sculptor but knowing that I didn't find out who was the person who killed me in hirata estate disappoints I was sure it was owl but I wanted the game to tell me that I am right

im trying to get the purification ending, but i lit the incense but emma is still in the room with kuro... not talking to issin. anybody else have this problem?
*edit:* emma never left to talk to isshin, but i still got the purification ending - so, as the video suggests, eavesdropping on isshin and emma is not a necessary step
