@MsPucca2011 No... In that column f(k)(1), we're plugging in 1 for x all the way down, never -1. We're plugging in 1 because a=1. Therefore, 6(1)-6=0. Hope that helps, and thanks for the question! :)

You are the best in the teaching methodology. But I have a question to you regarding f(x)=x^3 - 3x^2 + 2x + 1, a=1, n=3. What is the dimension of the given polynomial function? Can we say that when we have given a polynomial in which independent variable is only one then its dimension is one. Regards, Waseem.
