I've been spending too many hours mulling over between buying (and in what ratios to buy them) VTI/VTSAX, VOO/VFIAX, VT/VTWAX, VXUS/VTIAX, and a few other ETFs/Mutual funds. In the end, you can't go wrong with any of those well-diversified funds.

He didnt even answer the question… the question was about (1) single ETF (in this case VOO) and chill. The question was answered with a response of (4) ETFs.

hear of VTI but whats VTO (did they mean VOO?). and if the portfolio grows over 1/2M then how would one spread (and still chill)?

The question wasn't really answered. He was asked how he feels about VTI or VOO and chill. He was not asked about VXUS or bonds. Also, "you don't want to put too much money in one place." That made literally no sense. These are highly diversified indexes. Where else are you sending money? Lots of talking without saying anything.

If you have over a million in this plan and “it’s too much in the company (Vanguard), where would you put the rest?
