Music's great for processing emotions as well. Whenever I'm grieving I always turn to Bach's Chaconne, whenever I'm struck with melancholy I listen to Scriabin sonata 8, Beethoven sonata 29 adagio, Chopin's c minor nocturne or his fourth ballade, whenever I'm angry I play Mendelssohn op 35 no 5 fugue and when I'm in a conflicted state of murky feelings of wistfulness I turn to Brahms' late piano works.

Playing an instrument is a sport. Bass and guitar can be quite hard on the body as much as the mind.

On a serious note though, I do generally agree with what was said in the video, however I must say that learning to play an instrument can still be quite tedious and as such - you must truly enjoy it. There are both the question of talent and practice which are still in effect when you learn an instrument in most cases. The learning curve is quite steep and it will require dedication and time. Usually it is better to find a person that will teach you to play rather than do that on your own with some internet tutorials as usually there are many small details which should be considered while you play and it will be very rough for you to correct them later on because of the repetitive motions which are present with almost every, if not all, instruments - a knowledgeable person could easily see and correct those mistakes early on. Also in terms of talent - this question is quite relevant as there is indeed a difference. For someone who has natural musical hearing, it won't be hard to just memorize how an instrument sounds and than just be able to copy the music they hear on the flow. For others it might take days to just learn a piece that is very simplistic. Though you would still need to learn the musical grammar and in that term it's just a question of time and perception of information. And there are still small things like, for example, small hands which would make playing piano uncomfortable or you would need to get a custom one which is quite hard to do. And of course you must enjoy playing an instrument, whether it is a complex one requiring learning many techniques or something simple requiring just a sense of rhythm.
If that doesn't scare you off - I think you would have a great bit of fun playing one =D
