Kong refuses Ghidorah’s call - Godzilla: King of the Monsters/ fan edit

In the novelization for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Kong refuses to follow Ghidorah’s call and wants nothing to do with it. However, the skull crawlers are woken up and the creatures of Skull Island answer the call to leave the Island, possibly through the hollow earth. A monitor in KoTM shows Kong is off the island and likely in the hollow earth. The novelization states that Kong begins to hunt and stop the creatures from leaving the mainland.
