Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, addresses the General Debate of the 79th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (New York, 24 - 30 September 2024).

World leaders gather to engage in the annual high-level General Debate under the theme, "Unity and diversity for advancing peace, sustainable development, and human dignity, everywhere and for all." Heads of State and Government and ministers will explore solutions to intertwined global challenges to advance peace, security, and sustainable development.

The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the Organization. Comprising all Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations has an equal vote.

It's incredibly disrespectful that when smaller (and even some larger) countries are addressing the assembly, hardly anyone is paying attention. People are on their phones, laptops, chatting, or otherwise distracted from the important issues being discussed. And then people wonder why the UN isn't as effective as it should be? The lack of discipline and respect is glaring. There should be rules in place, especially for an annual event of this importance. The UN seemed more effective when technology wasn't a distraction. We talk about keeping phones and devices out of classrooms, yet these highly educated diplomats can't even show basic respect. It's disappointing that the UN hasn't implemented any guidelines to address this. It’s time for them to get it together, listen to world leaders, and engage properly.

HOPI, we are all 🌍🌎🌏 with you and your people.

UN and other institutions may have not held space for you or your people that is erelavent and might have been a waiste of time seeing not all nations have grown up or up held peace within their own ppl nore their neighbors. Not one has overcome conflicts or stop threats of conflicts. Not one UN or other countries has made humanity a leading capital of there heart's or souls. Not one has wealth enough for their own ppl. Not one has put aside their own principles, structures, or laws that have made them better than the other. All has failed, and all have added to discord and lost in humanitarian quantities.

Be not despaired. There are those who hear your silent crys, your prayers, your words, your calls.

I welcome you or your people inside my prayers, my thoughts, and my heart.


I welcome you and all of your people thoughts, I understand these words of wisdom from all Natives, Our Indigenous, Our First Nations, who are the voice of our past and want to help preserve our future.

I stand with those who helped us to this very moment in time and continued to help humans cultivating a path to reconciliation and peace for all who want this world a place to call home.

Those in favor of these virtues are without question the truest humanitarians and leaders of this world.

I stand not under so-called leaders nore beside those that challenge these ways and have colonized or terror afflicted to those who are the custodians of our home called Mother Earth. We do not follow we mend and we tell what was said.

We are not a few, but many whom through silence, have seen and heard more than enough of greed and the pillaging of those who gate keep wealth and honor upheaval ways and to carry on as business as usual. This is not in honorable ways but a continued disregarding of the path of those who have been silenced of true wisdom.

We are not a few, but we are of many that have witnessed and affected of all of these shortcomings and downfalls of inhumane ways and on our environments.

We stand with truths, light and new and old ways of overcoming opposition in every sector of man made devices that have influences of pain and conflicts. That has not surved us well.

We that has this knowledge of these true concepts of these true greatness, that want to witness this come into affect and all that want to be on the side of real investing interest to help move humans into a future with these true goals in sight and made attainable.

Not through the ways that has failed, but our values that was past down through all generations from every walk of life.

Our Creator, who is Our Heavenly Father that has helped many to keep the truth alive and knows the dignity of humanity is at the forefront of these said values and the people who help teach of this knowledge.

We are all welcoming to those whom have been silenced through generations of oppression genocide and political wars that has never moved humanity forwards but has held us back from true life as we all have lived through it and our ancestors before us.

This is not paid with IOUs or debt consolidation, loans, or empty promises, nor is it or ever will be that simple. It is much deeper and more profound in the inner core of our own souls and speaks much louder than all leaders of this world or nature as we know it.

We are not few but many, and we do not need more resolutions that create more unrest.

I thank you, HOPI leaders, who structured many humans with hope, light, and humility as a president in your lives and ourselves.

Your seats are full outside of the establishments. We sit hand in hand full circle at all corners of the world who grasp your understanding of caretakers of humans and our environments.

I stand with the most respect for those who value these same principles and humanitarian servants for our world as we know it that could be and should be and want it to be.
