Israel appeared to be gearing up for a ground invasion of Lebanon as hundreds of tanks massed on the country’s northern border.

Former Israeli Government spokesman Eylon Levy joins Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer, saying he “hopes” there is not a “full ground operation” in the country.

Books will be written about the last two weeks. Certainly the most ingenious Intel and military operation I've ever witnessed. Don't forget the IDF extensively warned civilians in Beirut prior to the strikes, that's why there's zero material for the propaganda war; just footage of piles of rubble. How they could so obviously telegraph a strike and yet achieve 100% operation success is just beyond me but some serious disinfo must have been fed to Hezbollah C&C and the pager attack will undoubtedly have been part of it to completely disrupt communication lines. I don't think israel was acting alone either and I'm not talking about the West. Where is Saudi in all this? They have infiltrated every single jihadist group in the region, they are better at it than even Israel. We'll probably never know what exactly happened and how Israel pulled this off.
