It’s so obvious these old women forgot what it’s like to be an emotional teenager. I hate that they didn’t focus on the movie and focused more on scolding these girls. Acting like the actors are the characters and making Nikki seem like she’s a bad person for struggling with things like that.

The fact they were 15 in this interview and were still more professional than the 50+ year olds

Why do they sound so Like God! Evan and Nikki were so respectful you can see parts here where they looked irritated AF

The fact these interviewers are attacking Nikki and Evan instead of listening and realising that a lot of teenagers go through this is just so frustrating

What a weirdly antagonistic interview. It's like they were being told off.

And this is why kids don't tell parents anything.

The way Evan couldn't hold back her smile when Nikki corrected Meredith on the film not being autobiographical. YAS GIRL

They’re so rude, those woman didn’t show the slightest empathy and you can tell Evan and Nikki looked uncomfortable the entire time but they still managed to be respectful and patient, they don’t deserve all that

They interviewed so so well under pressure, especially at that age. Applauding these girls!

I feel like the older women were just throwing stuff at them basically attacking them. I feel bad for them especially Nikki, she wasn't having it.

I don’t know how to feel about this… literally just attacking these girls like seriously talking over them talking over each other Jesus

So ... that's not it. First of all, asking a teenage girl, how much of the stuff depicted she actually did is super invasive and kind of creepy. Especially because she clarifies that it is only loosely based on her experience (although they seem to not have understood that because they were sort of insisting that everything that happened to Tracy must have happened to Nikki too?) And then they want perfect answers on what parents can do to stop their children from going down that path - how were they supposed to know, they were like what, 15/16 when they did this interview? They were still in it, how were they supposed to know how to solve this? Idk this interview felt a bit weird and they were almost talked down to, sort of like they're to blame, instead of being shown compassion and empathy.

They are totally missing that these characters weren't raised in a normal suburban environment like I'm sure their homes are with their children. They were responding to years of stress and trauma

You see one of the issues these woman or parents in general were having, was the fact that they all were stuck in that “since I went without this or my mom did this or said that mind set” it’s a generational curse, they choose not to break. The lady next to Evan asked them “well what’s changed?” ALOT! lol…idk the older generation will never get it.
