I play a Taylor t5z in church. This. Instrument has recently been brought to my attention. I have not had an opportunity to play one yet. I was wondering about the weight and measurements across the lower bout. Is it similar to the t5z? Does it offer more versatility?

Great review my brother. I have one question for you. Does the battery drain if you leave it plugged in?

I built a Jazzmaster style guitar with a Graphtech Ghost piezo bridge system. I run it into my Helix using some acoustic impulse responses I purchased from Sigma 3 Studios ($10 a pop). It sounds more like a real acoustic through our PA than my Gibson J200 with an LR Baggs Anthem. Highly recommend the acoustic impulse responses for any worship leader looking for an awesome acoustic tone on Sunday mornings. WARNING: if your sound folks have never mic’d a real acoustic guitar before, they may actually think it sounds less authentic because all they know is that quacky piezo splat from under saddle pickups.

How does the action compare to your Les Paul? I purchased one of these and the bridge was super high on the bass side and even after cranking it down as low as it goes the action is still higher than my Taylor 812. I'm going to return it because it is not comfortable to play

I have a TC Play Acoustic with Body Rez and wondered if it would work, I think it does. Thanks!

You said your acoustic sound was lacking. The pro martin players on the martin forum heavily favored the k&k pure mini pickup. I'm going to get one of those and instead of putting a cheap crap preamp or signal modifying pedal on it, I'll use a tuner pedal which doubles as an impedance matching device between the pickup and my pc sound card (tc electrnx polytuner-3). That way there's no junk in the signal path from guitar to recording device.
