As much as I love Ronnie, he is full of shit here. He takes people as idiots. To claim not to remember what he took despite doing it day in and day out is an insult. Same with the claim that he used only what doctor prescribed.

I've had friends do steroids under a doctors supervision but one of them had issues with his kidneys and the doctor told him to stop using steroids but it was too late to reverse his kidney disease . So even with a doctor you can still damage your health

Every pro bodybuilder never gives any credit to steroids. Every interview is the same story "Back then we just dabbled here and there, not like the guys today. We just trained harder"

Nasser el Sonbaty, one of the most renowned abusers of PEDs in bodybuilding history used to lament at how little Ronnie had to take to improve. Now Chad Nicholas is well known for pushing the chemicals with his athletes and even he said Ronnie was an anomaly. Ronnie couldn’t cut on low carbs! Chad put him on the same routine as Flex and Ronnie said he felt awful, so Chad doubled his carb intake and within a week, he was actually drying out . So they upped the carbs again and his conditioning just kept improving… Ronnie Coleman is the only man alive who has to put BBQ sauce on everything during contest prep.

Ron is an anomaly. There are certainly others with his genetic predisposition to grow easily (Levrone for example), but don’t have his work ethic. The only man who worked harder was Yates.

If Levrone or Flex had Dorian or Ronnie’s work ethic, they would have won a Sandow.

2:44 um…no. Just no. The stomach was horribly distended and swollen. And regarding acne? It’s not a significant marker of I’ll-health…it’s just excess sebum production by the skin cause by androgens. And he’s previously admitted he was very close to having admitted himself to hospital due to diuretics and insulin pre-contest. So “health” was never the thing.
