I have a question and I have a feeling you know what I am trying to say with this one question alone.

Does Washington D.C. represent the entire United States?


In case it was not clear for someone, a single city does not tell the entire story of the country it is in. It is just a slice of the bigger picture. Unfortunately a lot of people saying they traveled to the Netherlands, while Amsterdam is within it's borders and thus technically correct. These people also claim that it's the entire country or that it looks everywhere the same. Which it doesn't. Does a California look the same as Washington for example? Or a New Vegas to name another completely different city within the same country. The point I am trying to make with this is that people should look further then the city they are visiting to see more of the country. You payed enough to get there, why stop by a single beach or city?
